I am

About

Educator/Coach/Leader

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, I am a dual Canadian/American citizen who has traversed various industries throughout my career, ultimately dedicating the past 30 years to education. Prior to my tenure in education, I held leadership positions in three prominent corporations across the United States.

Throughout my educational journey, I've had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of subjects. From middle school Social Studies and computer applications to high school courses in CADD, GIS, Digital Design, Web Design, and Programming (Python), my passion for imparting knowledge has remained unwavering. Alongside teaching, I've coached multiple interscholastic sports, including baseball, volleyball, wrestling, soccer, bowling, and my deepest passion, ice hockey. For 15 years, I served in pivotal roles as a middle and high school assistant principal, principal, and as a CEO of a career academy. However, in 2022, I felt a calling to return to direct student engagement, prompting my return to the classroom.

My academic pursuits include a BS in Business from Western International University, an M.Ed. in Instructional Technology and Design from American Intercontinental University Online, Leadership Certification attained through Mercer University, and an Ed.S. in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University.

My enduring love for ice hockey spans 56 years and keeps me grounded and balanced. I achieved my USA Hockey Master Coach License in 2021 (the highest accolade attainable in USA Hockey coaching) and secured my Silver Level Goalie Certification in March 2024. Presently, I mentor and coach the Atlanta Center Ice 16U AA team, a part of the Southern Youth Travel Hockey League (SYTHL).

Beyond my professional endeavors, I indulge in streaming NPSL, UPSL, WPSL matches, and Youth hockey/soccer games as a cherished hobby whenever the opportunity arises.
